Here at Fairway Physio Ltd, we are taking the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic very seriously, ensuring a safe environment for face to face appointments within our clinic room.
Here are some of the measures we are using at Fairway Physio to ensure staff and patient safety:
1.COVID SCREENING: Before your first appointment, one of our staff will call you to question you about your health, including any current symptoms of Covid-19 or contact with anyone with symptoms, any underlying health conditions (such as heart and lung conditions), the complaint that has prompted you to make an appointment.
We will use this information to help us determine whether you are suitable for face to face appointments at this time. You may be offered a virtual appointment if you are in a Covid-19 high risk category, or, if you do not fall within government guidance suitability of face to face appointments. If you are not able to attend a face to face appointment and are not willing to see your physiotherapist virtually, we will try to offer some advice over the phone. Your appointment will then be postponed to a time where by restrictions have eased, or, there has been a change in your medical condition.
2. CLEANING TIME; We are currently leaving spaces between our patient appointments to allow time for the clinic room to be thoroughly cleaned.
3. CLOSED WAITING ROOM; Our waiting room is currently closed to avoid contamination and patient to patient contact. We are asking all patients to wait in their cars until they are called in by a member of our therapy team.
4. PPE; Our staff are using visors / masks and aprons to help protect the spread of infection. We are asking all patients to wear masks to their appointment and to wash their hands upon entering the clinic room.
5. TEMPERATURE CHECK; All our staff are temperature checked at the start of every working day.
