At Fairway Physio, you will be provided with treatment and rehabilitation to suit your individual needs. You will receive a professional, informative and friendly service that will help you back into full participation within your activities of daily living, work, sport or hobbies.

We pride ourselves in educating our patients so that every patient that comes through our doors knows what their problem is, why it has occurred, how we will treat it and how long the problem will take to resolve.

What we treat:

  • Low back and neck pain.
  • Muscle and tendon strains
  • Ligament sprains
  • Osteoarthritis
  • Whiplash
  • Headache
  • Post surgical rehabilitation.
  • Sports injuries
  • Repetitive strain injury
  • Bone fracture rehabilitation

Please note;

We have two options when choosing your Physio / Sports Therapy service. You will need to choose either our “Physiotherapy / Sports Therapy” service or our “Team Leader Physiotherapy”. All our therapists are fully qualified and governed by their respective bodies (Physiotherapists, HCPC and CSP) and (Sports Therapists, SST). All therapists at Fairway Physio undergo extensive clinical training to ensure our clients get the best possible service. The cost of these services are different (Physiotherapy / Sports Therapy (£55) and Team Leader Physiotherapy (£65)) and reflect the years of experience of the therapists within our team. Please choose one of our Physiotherapists or Sports Therapists for your treatment on our booking page. Our Physio’s and Sports Therapists essentially do the same role and are all qualified to treat your injuries such as the injuries listed above.

If you are claiming your fees back through an insurance or health care provider, please book your appointments with one of our Physiotherapists and not our Sports Therapists as it is likely that you will need your therapist to be registered with the HCPC.

What to expect from your first appointment:

All physiotherapy appointments are approximately 45 minutes duration. Initially we aim to collect as much detail from you as possible regarding the history of your condition, how it presents and how the problem occurred, as well as details of your past medical history to help build a picture of what may be causing your symptoms.

A full objective examination will then be carried out to diagnose your injury. You will be informed and educated regarding the nature and pathology of your injury and the best ways to manage it.

There is usually adequate time following your assessment within your first session for some treatment. Subsequent sessions will be treatment based and are delivered with a combination of manual and exercise therapy to treat the cause of your symptoms.

You will be provided with a copy of your tailored rehabilitation exercises that can either be taken away with you following your session or emailed to you (along with a video) so that they are waiting for you when you get home.

You will feel constantly supported throughout your rehabilitation journey and have comfort in knowing that you will Get Better . Be Better . Perform Better.

What to bring to an appointment:

Comfortable loose clothing would be preferable. Loose shorts makes assessment of the legs easier. For women, please bring a strappy top that makes assessment of the neck and shoulder blades easy.

It may also be advisable to bring a list of medication you are currently taking.
